Barker Textiles, UAB is implementing a project for the deployment of e-commerce transaction solutions.

Barker Textiles, UAB is implementing the project “Implementation of E-commerce Transaction Solutions,” co-financed by the Ministry of Economics and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania under the 2022–2030 Development Program, Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-05-05 “Promoting Digitalization in Businesses,” aimed at “Encouraging Very Small, Small, and Medium Enterprises to Digitalize by Funding the Implementation of E-commerce Transaction Solutions, Service and Product Configuration, and Visualization.”

The goal of the project is to implement e-commerce transaction solutions that will allow the company to increase its sales revenue.

Successful implementation of the project will enable the company to establish a digital e-commerce solution and boost its sales revenue.

Eligible costs for project funding amount to €37,450.00.

Funding from the European Regional Development Fund for project implementation is €18,725.00.

UAB “Barker Textiles” is implementing the project “UAB “Barker Textiles” Investments in the Creative Industries Sector Products.”

UAB “Barker Textiles” is implementing the project “UAB “Barker Textiles” Investments in the Creative Industries Sector Products,” which is partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project aims to create new, high-value-added, competitive cultural and creative content and forms of products by investing in innovative digital solutions that promote a circular economy.

During the project implementation, the company will invest in technologies and their implementation necessary for ensuring digitalization and circular economy principles, as well as developing high-value-added creative industry products. These investments will allow the company to enhance its technological processes and offer products based on circular economy principles to its clients. The investments will enable UAB “Barker Textiles” to become a competitive and innovative company in the market, thereby increasing sales revenue and successfully addressing common macroeconomic challenges (e.g., inflation, labor shortages, raw material issues), as well as the instability and uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s operations will be successfully redirected towards a circular economy.

Eligible costs for project funding amount to €249,930.49.

Funding from the European Regional Development Fund, as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, for project implementation is up to €124,965.24.

Implementation of Technological Innovations in UAB “Barker Textiles” Production.

UAB “Barker Textiles” is implementing a project partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund titled “Implementation of Technological Innovations in UAB “Barker Textiles” Production.”

Project activities include the acquisition of new innovative equipment.

UAB “Barker Textiles” is an advanced producer of wool and cotton textile products. A significant portion of the company’s production is exported. Currently, the production process incurs considerable electricity and raw material costs, and waste is generated that cannot be recycled.

The project aims to implement technological eco-innovations to reduce the negative impact on the environment. The company intends to acquire modern equipment and begin producing renewed and new products, significantly expanding its product range. The efficient equipment will increase productivity and material processing accuracy. This will create conditions to save electricity and improve the yield of wool and cotton raw materials, as well as reduce waste quantities.

This project is implemented under the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investment Action Program, Priority 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises,” Measure “Eco-innovations LT.”

The measure aims to encourage very small, small, and medium enterprises to implement technological eco-innovations to mitigate the negative effects of climate change and the greenhouse effect.

Project budget: €1,558,000.00;

Project funding: €701,100.00.
